Verified #F89C22=0 in the token files and the contrast note corrected. Remaining action is Sam's: review and merge (merge is the rollback point), then re-sync the plugin so the installed skills pick up the change.

Arc of the session

Started as a one-line question (is this uploaded hero live?). Answer: yes, it was already live. The session then expanded into building a reusable hero, resolving a brand-color conflict, and preparing a skills-repo PR.

What was accomplished

1. Hero live status confirmed. WP page 61285 (/practice-areas/uber-lyft-rideshare-accidents/) already shows the uploaded cva-hero: H1 "INJURED IN AN UBER OR LYFT ACCIDENT?", single CALL NOW, image rideshare-accident-v2.webp. It went live today ~11:02 (revision 71168). The first read was a stale cached REST content.rendered; corrected against the uncached front-end and context=edit raw. No deploy was needed or done.
2. Phone confirmed. tel:5028888888 (502-888-8888) is the correct firm number and belongs in the markup. CallRail dynamic number insertion swaps it to a tracked number at runtime (seen as 502-842-5049). Expected, no fix.
3. Reusable hero built. Template + skill saved to the Elements Library, corrected so the H1 holds only the headline and the value-prop is its own <p class="cva-hero__uvp">. Foundry #D97706, single CALL NOW on tel:5028888888, full-bleed, no !important, Fraunces H1 / Poppins UVP+button.
4. Brand-orange conflict resolved. Foundry #D97706 is canonical (Sam confirmed), superseding the old Aguiar #F89C22; deep-on-dark is #B45309. Logged as a canonical Decision page in the KB. Live page 61285 already uses #D97706 (23/25 orange refs).
5. Retired-orange audit. #F89C22 still hardcoded in 14 skill files: sail-design-foundation, firm-briefing, pre-publish-qa, sa-editorial-design, playwright-visual-qa, sa-template-reference/SKILL.md and references/{components,content-grid,cta-banner,deprecated,hero,sidebar,toc,trust-bar}.md (sa-template-reference is the heaviest, ~24 + 23 refs).

Decisions made (do not relitigate)

• Canonical CTA/accent orange = Foundry #D97706; deep-on-dark = #B45309; #ff6900 stays banned. Migrate everything.
• Hero H1 = headline only; value-prop is a sibling <p>, not nested in the H1.
• Ship the repo changes as ONE reviewed PR to samaguiar1982-cpu/sail-skills (not a direct push to main). Merging is the rollback point.
• Sam granted always-allow writes to the sail-skills repo.
