The canonical brand orange for Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers is Foundry #D97706, used for CTA buttons, accent words in headlines, icons, and borders. It is NOT a background fill. For orange text on dark backgrounds, use the deeper #B45309. The rogue #ff6900 stays banned.
This supersedes the older Aguiar orange #F89C22 (and its deep partner #e58a10).
The skill library contradicted itself:
sail-design-foundation (labeled the single source of truth) and firm-briefing defined the brand orange as #F89C22 / deep #e58a10.firm-reference and sa-split-results-hero defined it as Foundry #D97706 / dark-bg #B45309, calling #D97706 the color for new deployments.#D97706 for 23 of its 25 orange references, including the hero CTA and accent.Sam confirmed #D97706 (Foundry) is canonical on 2026-06-04.
#F89C22 on white was already flagged as failing contrast (about 2.42:1). #D97706 is darker and improves on that, but orange-on-white at body text size still should be treated cautiously: prefer Foundry for large headline accents, icons, borders, and on the dark navy #0B212D; for small orange text on white use the deeper #B45309. Keep the existing rule that orange is never a section background.
