Folikolix Modified English Writing System (FMEWS) is a brainstorm writing system created and organised by an independent creator Folikolix. The goal of this project is to fix issues with the English language and add additional words to help people express themselves more precisely.
This system is mainly intended for personal use, creative writing, and intentional online communities.
FMEWS is organised in a few categories since the whole system has many rules/add-ons that aren't really connected.
None of these ideas are mandatory. You don’t have to use all of them—or any of them—if they aren’t useful in a given context. These are meant as optional tools to reduce ambiguity and support gender-friendly language. They may have flaws and are open to improvement.
English is flexible, but it lacks consistent tools for expressing gender, reference, and nuance. FMEWS experiments with optional additions that can improve clarity and inclusivity without replacing existing language.
