Dropping Off Donations

All donations can be dropped off at our City House Admin Building

830 Central Pkwy E #350 Plano, TX 75074

Simply let us know that you’re dropping off a donation and a member of our team will come help unload your car. Tax receipts are available.

Tips for Organizing a Success Drive

1. Contact City House Donor & Volunteer Manager, Donna Brackeen, at dbrackeen@cityhouse.org or by calling (972)-400-7868 to let us know about your drive

• Visit our Amazon Current Needs List to find out what items we currently need.
• Invite a team to help spread the word and manage donations as they’re collected. Friends, classmates, co-workers, small groups, clubs, or teams are a great place to start!
• Pick a date, time, and location that work well for your community and make giving as simple as possible.
• Promote your drive on social media and around your workplace or school to build momentum.
• Schedule a drop off by emailing [donations@cityhouse.org](mailto:donations@cityhouse.org?subject=Doantion%20Drive).

What items should I collect?

You can organize a drive for a number of different needs! Visit our Amazon Current Needs list to see what we are urgently in need of or reach out to Donna Brackeen, Donor & Volunteer Manager for specific questions about our donation needs at dbrackeen@cityhouse.org

Are there any items you cannot accept?

We cannot accept used clothing or toiletry/cleaning items

Do you accept furniture?

Due to limited storage, this is a case by case decision. Please reach out and send a picture of the item to donations@cityhouse.org to confirm!

Should I let you know that I am organizing a donation drive?

Yes! We’d love to partner with you to ensure your drive is a success.

Will I get a receipt for my donations?

Tax receipts are available upon request

Can you pick up my donations?

No. We don’t offer transportation for donations. If you have any questions please reach out to Donna Brackeen, Volunteer and Donor Relations Manager, at dbrackeen@cityhouse.org

Can City House send a speaker to my group?

Absolutely! Reach out to us at cityhouse.org/request-a-speaker and we are happy to schedule that with you.
