1) ✅ Minimum Commitments (non-negotiables)

Board members are expected to meet the following minimum commitments:

>50% of all quarterly board meetings (4 per year)
>50% of all CreativeTypes Board Retreats (1 per year, measured over a 4-year period)
≥1 x CreativeTypes in-person event (typically 1–4 per year)
≥1 x CreativeTypes regional event activation co-host (1 per year)

🎉 What counts as an “in-person event”?

Any CreativeTypes-sponsored gathering or a board-member-led/region-led activation that’s explicitly part of CreativeTypes community building (co-hosting, convening, meaningful attendee experience).
