Aragon Manifesto: If you haven’t yet, please review our Manifesto. This is the foundational document to Aragon Network DAO and encompasses the entire value structure of our organization. Being aligned with these values is essential to AN DAO Community membership.

One quote of significance from the Aragon Manifesto:

Thus, Aragon is a fight for freedom. Aragon empowers freedom by creating liberating tools that leverage decentralized technologies.

History: Founded in 2016, Aragon seeks to build tech that liberates the world through trustless voting mechanisms. Some of the largest DAOs in the web3 ecosystem use Aragon’s smart contracts to secure their voting processes. Aragon is becoming a DAO itself, and AN DAO is still in early stages.

Following the launch of Aragon Network DAO in late 2021 and completion of Season 0 in April, the organization has been in a process of reconstruction. Aragon Network DAO is still growing, but in the interest of setting fair expectations with the community, it must be stated that full time positions will be available, however more limited going forward.

Keep in mind you do not need to be a full time contributor to play a meaningful role in the Aragon Network DAO.

Community Guide:

What is an Aragon Network DAO Contributor?

The definition of a “Contributor” varies slightly from DAO to DAO as each organization has its own unique structure, objectives and therefore tasks that it needs people to assist with.

Through the lens of the Aragon Network DAO, a Contributor is: a community member that services the Aragon Network in exchange for Aragon Network Tokens (ANT) or USDC.
