I think it’s fair to say that studying and researching the nature of community development is where my primary interest lies.

• The development of the world (and its communities) inform and inspire the hardware design (Semiconductors) required to develop new paradigms for Application Development (for the purpose of community growth)
• The context in which I have the most practice is in building Conscious Movement communities
  • Art of Building Community Through Dance
  • Dance events and gatherings is a clear measurable output
    • Finding ways to measure growth and happiness at such events is key to success
• Transformation is a underlying (and overarching) context
  • Transforming how we build communities around Healthcare (esp Mental Health)
• Film (and related trans-media) plays an important role in communicating a community’s voice
  • I am intrigued by the manner in which Roam Research (a form of software trans-media) leverages book clubs at an organizing structure for building learning communities.
• In a resource-based economy, Philanthropy drives Activism in such a way we focus on building communities committed to solving our world’s most pressing issues
  • I advocate supporting the slow arts and have a daily meditation practice to:
    1. be a role model for communities I develop
    2. maintain my own health & Wellbeing
• Academia is one of the world’s oldest learning communities
  • The scientific method provides structure for peer reviewed, evidence-based knowledge
  • My intent to return to Academia is to make meaningful contributions to a growing body of knowledge as it relates to community development
  • The rigorous application of community development theories and learning from experiments sounds very intruiguing
    • by nature, community development is recursive and applicable to the academic body itself
• Management Consulting is a form of servicing organizations and communities in leveraging best practices
