The short answer: free users can’t change their session lengths; Lifeline Pro users can.

The long answer: Lifeline allows you to have as many 25-minute cycles as you want within a session. You're not forced to stop after 25 minutes as with some other Pomodoro timers. This flexibility means you can do a 50-minute session by doing two cycles of 25 minutes. Lifeline then also automatically calculates the required break time accordingly (e.g., it will recommend a 10- minute break instead of five-minute one if you worked for fifty minutes).

Custom session lengths with Lifeline Pro

Pro users can specify custom lengths for their Lifeline sessions. Doing so changes the time the progress bar at the top of our screen represents during a session.

Pro users can change their session length in the session launch panel. The panel will show the expected end time based on the duration you choose.

Take session and meeting lengths from calendar events

Sessions automatically take the length of calendar events when you have your calendar synced with Lifeline. Simply right-click a future event on your Lifeline (when you’re not in a session), and select start.
