Welcome to Willowburrow Village! I'm Benji, and I'd like to introduce you to my neighbours.
First, meet Pip and Whisker — two ferrets in little coats who are always curious, always hungry, and always getting the blame for things they didn't do.
Then there's Robin Redbreast, who lives on the chimney pot and tells everyone in the village what's happening — usually making it sound much more dramatic than it really is.
Constable Badger is in charge of keeping order. He carries a notebook and a magnifying glass, and he is very serious. He always suspects the ferrets.
Tabitha Cat runs the tea room. She's kind and warm, and she definitely does not secretly feed the ferrets biscuits. (She does.)
And somewhere in the shadows — quick and clever and always gone before anyone looks — is Marlo Pine, the pine marten. He's the one causing the real trouble. But only I seem to notice.
