Balan Island is located in the northern parts of the Sky Archipelago.
Roughly the same size as the entire Amami Island. Unlike Sky Harbor , Balan Island is a temperate grassland fit for agricultural purposes. However, Balan Island is too small to supply the entire Sky Archipelago.
Balan Island features Agricultural festivals on the day of harvests. It is heavily situated in the once-prosperous city of Balam. It is very rich in crop harvests and merchants once visited every month or so. But the consecutive economic downturn made it hard for the festival to occur and to attract traveling merchants
Balam City was once a prosperous harbor even before the Worldshift. The appearance of a new disease changed life in Balan Island. Farmers are forced to burn their crops and yield dropped. Less merchants have visited the islands and the problem became worse after the Worldshift. in the end Balam Island became a harsh land.
Roen is a small town comprised of Farmers and sailors.
