Sky Harbor has a medieval fantasy atmosphere with some modern elements. Parts of the island seem fairly urban, and it is fairly densely populated.
Many buildings are wooden. Some buildings are three to five stories high. There are many shops that are owned by craftsmen, such as bakeries, carpenters, and blacksmiths. There are also multiple guilds.
There are carriages and carts on the streets, as well as air taxis (Flying Bison). Airships and ferries can be seen in the harbor. Teleportation Circles are also present on the island, but many are dysfunctional right now.
Sky Harbor has a city guard, fire brigade, and hospitals.
Sky Harbor is operated by the Sky Harbor City Council.
During the Worldshift, many buildings collapsed during the earthquake. Some buildings caught on fire, including the Harbormaster's Office.
