Asana is a daily driver for project, task, and event management.

It’s enterprise, collaborative nature is what has allowed my implementation to scale with seemingly no ceiling in sight. The platform is very masterful at “information hiding” and only bringing relevant tasks into view.

My previous GTD implementation was in OmniFocus, also an early player on the original iPhone

Seeing students share their dashboards in Notion is inspiring & wonder if this kind of visualization might unseat Asana after 4 years...

In July 2020, Asana is implementing features to:

1. track mission & goals and provide higher visibility to executives and board of directors (they make specific reference to [[balanced scorecard]])
2. automate tedious aspects of team meetings through automated transcription and identification of actionable items
3. integrate Loom -like tools to provide video overviews of tasks & initiatives so passion & inspiration can be relayed
