Imagine you are an ant living in the anthill in the middle of an upcoming road pavement construction. There will not be communication between you and humans, but just the humans pave over your anthill. The reason is obvious — the communication cost will be too high. Humans don't hate ants, they just don't care that much.
This will be the same situation between we humans and AGIs, which is so-called Artificial General Intelligence.
My long-term goal is to accelerate the speed of the human consciousness by unlocking the full potential of using computers as a medium. To achieve this, my current goal is to increase the bandwidth of the Brain-Computer Interface by adapting new invasive surgery to implement electrodes, broadening the sensing areas of the brain, decoding electronic signals to build a global optimum model of cognitive representation, using machine/deep learning techniques to train the models by computers, then transfer through the interface with high-bandwidth into our brain. This makes humans learn faster, having the ability to assess whatever intelligence we had trained, and most importantly — to the utmost extent avoiding the risk of the rapid development of AGIs.
Still, struggling to find a way to boost my career path towards this end goal.
