Hi, I’m Prathiksha (she/her), the human behind Patchwork Collective and your friendly (but delightfully opinionated) virtual mental health practitioner.
Outside of this profession, I’m someone who finds comfort in art in all its forms. I grew up bonding over art with my mom, and that early spark has shaped my life in more ways than one. These days, you’ll find me exploring world cinema, reading various genres of books and off late I’ve been sinking into gothic fiction, making reels, rearranging a Canva design for the nth time, or occasionally dabbling in photography.
I am the most happiest around animals. Thanks to my two little companions who keep me grounded and joyful. And in a perfect world I would be running a tiny café with a bookstore on top and a tiny shelter for all kinds of furry wanderers.
Professionally, I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, with certifications in Art-Based Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and Queer-Affirmative Practice, and a Diploma in Child and Adolescent Counselling. My work blends art-based therapy and person-centered approach with evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
💁♀ In simple words: you are the driver and I’m here as your navigation system, offering clarity and direction when needed.
I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and adults across diverse spaces, making room for identity, trauma, neurodivergence, and the very real weight of systemic stress. As someone who is both queer and neurodivergent, I’ve learned the value of showing up with curiosity and compassion and without the expectation that anyone should already have it all sorted.
Oh! and I’m a proud member of the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (IEATA), which keeps my practice evolving just like we all do.
If you want a therapist who’s warm, grounded, socially aware, and occasionally unhinged about how beautiful art can be, you’re in the right place.
