This memo explains the practical journey of contributors at TheSummeet and how our Points system works in real-world application.

The Contributor Path: How It Actually Works

1. Join & Test the Waters

• Discover TheSummeet and express interest to help
• Complete an initial contribution without pre-agreed compensation
• We may need to sign the Collaboration Agreement to cover confidentiality and IP even if no pre-determined value of contribution has been agreed.
• Purpose: We're gettign to know each other to see if we can work together.

2. Formalize the Relationship

• After successful initial contribution, define regular collaboration terms
• Sign the Collaboration Agreement (if not already done)
• Agree on:
  • Contribution scope
  • Expected time availability
  • Market value of your work
  • Points conversion rate (typically 1 EUR = 2 Points)

3. Track & Review Contributions

• Record your work as you go (time, tasks, outcomes)
• Monthly retrospective meetings where:
  • Team reviews all contributions
  • Peer-level discussion of actual value created vs. estimates
  • Adjustments made by consensus when possible
  • Final allocation determined within Teams (with CEO sign-off if necessary)

4. Earn Points & Progress

• Points officially allocated monthly based on retrospective review
• Regular updates show your total Points and percentage of Contributor Pool
