<aside> 🧘 We take somewhat of strong stance on our company culture, and we do so voluntarily. We believe that company culture should be opinionated and cannot please everyone. This is what makes a good company culture.
We respect every opinion and understand that our culture may not please everyone. That's okay, as every company has its own unique perspective. We fully understand if your point of view differs from ours, and we respect those who decide this is not the right fit for them.

Yuma’s culture is built around 3 main beliefs:
And around those secondary attributes:
It’s all about the people
A company is nothing without the people in it. Top performers do their best work when they are surrounded by other top performers. Yuma can only win with the best people, and we aim to build the most fantastic team working in the space.
No ego
A team can only function well with a high sense of cohesion and dedication towards each other. We can't tolerate any behavior that will undermine that spirit. The output of a good team, through collaboration, should be higher than the sum of all the potential output of each individual in the team.
Open for feedback
We all make mistakes, but we should be open to learning from them. That's how we improve individually and as a team. Giving and receiving feedback well is our duty as good team members.
Commitment
This is a race towards being the first to build the best product in this industry. We can only achieve success with a high level of commitment and dedication towards our objective. If you are at a stage in your life where you want to work a comfortable job, do a 9-5, and spend your weekends in Tahoe, Google is your best bet. Yuma won't work for you.
Bad hires
As mentioned earlier, we all make mistakes. Even with an extremely thorough hiring process, we will make mistakes and hire people who might not end up being the best fit. Our commitment to you is that we will rectify this promptly, as we cannot tolerate the overall level of the team trending downward.
