Tell us about three things you’re most proud of having built, achieved, or contributed to. Briefly describe what you did, your specific contribution, and why it mattered.
I built CoMedAI, an open-source platform that helps with brain MRI analysis. My main contribution was designing the full system and integrating CNN + NLP into one usable product. CoMedAI reduces diagnosis time and cost, and support hospitals that have limited access to experts and resources.
I contributed as an AI/ML mentor and educator across multiple programs. At AI/ML API, I helped run a large international hackathon and wrote practical tutorials that make ML more accessible. I helped more people ship projects, learn faster, and feel supported while building.
I worked on optimizing code on STM32 microcontrollers for time and memory limits. My specific contribution was improving cryptography implementations (ASCON and GOST) using low-level optimization techniques. I believe efficient, on-device computing is key for real-world IoT and future wearable + privacy-first systems.
What motivates you to apply for the Residency, and why does this feel like the right environment for you right now?
I am always open to new opportunities, no matter how challenging they are.
I feel like the Residency program would be exactly the place I am looking for right now.
I really like how OpenAI moves fast (even if it feels a little slower at the moment).
I would love to contribute and help push things forward.
The environment and the people feel genuinely kind and open.
Since I regularly watch the streams on YouTube, I already feel connected to the culture.
One of my main motivations is to explore new things.
To try out new possibilities.
To network with like-minded people from different cultures n countries.
I think I would be fully present at the office — or even sleep there if needed.
I just want to get the most out of this program at the end.
