The Yam Re-Org eliminated Yam’s original core-team and replaced it with a new Grants based model that shifts control of the Yam DAO exclusively to Yam token holders. Under this new model called Yam Grants, creators and builders can apply for a Yam Grant in order to create something valuable for Yam DAO.
The Gov-Ops Council facilitates the Yam Grants process by assisting both token holders who approve Grants and the creators and builders who receive a Grant.
Gov-Ops Council was created to facilitate the Yam Grants process and keep Yam DAO running smoothly.
The Gov-Ops Council is a Silo with an approved Grant mandated with facilitating governance and operations for Yam DAO. Gov-Ops stands for Governance and Operations Council and is staffed by elected members who have extensive knowledge of Yam DAO’s operations and governance process.
