Why This Matters

In order to send text messages through Yada to your past guests, your phone number must be registered and approved under A2P 10DLC (Application-to-Person 10-Digit Long Code).

This process is required by mobile carriers. Without registration, your texts may be blocked or marked as spam.

Once complete, your number will be fully approved to send compliant marketing and loyalty texts through Yada Marketing Messages.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1. Enter Business Details

In OpenPhone, start your A2P 10DLC registration:

2. Describe How You’ll Use Messaging

Paste this into the “Use Case” section:

We will send SMS messages exclusively to past guests who have stayed at one of our properties. These messages are for marketing purposes and will share special rates and open room / back-in-stock offers for rebooking, with the goal of enhancing guest loyalty and rewarding repeat business.

3. Provide Sample Messages

Use the following examples when asked for message templates:

Example 1

Hi {{firstName}}, it’s [your name] from [your business]. Thanks for staying with us before! We’ve got a special offer for winter & spring stays—would you like us to hold a spot for you? Reply YES to book, or STOP to opt out.
