🌱OPPORTUNITY

Womp is looking for a Junior product designer and story writer to join our team of engineers and creatives. As Junior product designer and user story writer, you will work closely with the Lead Designer, product team, CEO, CTO, engineering, asset and marketing team to add to our interface, design new product features and workflows, all while refining and bringing the Womp brand and voice to life. This includes design of Womp's software product interface, graphic design, digital properties, marketing communications, social content among others. In your role as a Lead Product Designer, quantity and quality equally matter. This means that your core responsibility is to be a catalyst of provocative ideas expertly crafted.

📈RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in product meetings, dev team meetings, and daily standups
• Work with the Lead Product designer and product team to define design goals and strategies
• Evaluate the current system, design, brand and communications and provide recommendations on upgrades and revision
• Spearhead the re-design of Womp software interface, user flows and design decisions.
• Develop design proposals and schematics for future and existing software solutions
• Advocate for the user and be the voice of the user across the organization, conducting user research to drive product and design decisions
• Own User stories beginning to end- including Writing, editing, feature mapping, sketching, story boarding ,including acceptance criteria, conducting sizing meetings, drawing, prototyping, sending feedback to engineer's Trello boards.
• Transforming broad, conceptual ideas into impactful, metrics-driven solutions
• Ensure overall brand cohesiveness across all our products and channels,
• Roadmapping and strategic decision making for the Design & User Research function
• Recruitment, onboarding and team-growth
• Manage a high-performance design team
