2. Register a for new account (even if you might already have an account) as there is a different system for internal testing.

1. Activate your account with the verification code emailed to you. Stop here! Post in “Creator-General” channel in Poly discord to ask for testing portal premium access once done (specify your email) and we will upgrade your account from our backend for premium features.

2. Only after having been upgraded, click “Create” to create a new texture

1. Select the 2nd tool from the left toolbar to “Make Patches”. Don’t use the top “Quick Generate” tool. It’s easier but the quality is less controllable.

1. Enter a good, complete and descriptive prompt following the best practices. Here’s a resource on how to write good prompts:

1. Hit “Generate Patches”, which will generate 4 patches. Select the highest quality patch and hit “Select”. If you are not satisfied with the quality, hit “Generate Patches” again or adjust the prompt. Experiment and keep iterating to find the best results!

Click “Select” to choose the patch you want to move forward with

The selected patch will become the color map, which will be used during the next steps
