๐Ÿ’ก 3 things you need to know

Changing from your old Employer of Record (EOR) to Panther is not a hard task and you don't have to do things alone. In fact, you don't have to do much at all. We're here to make sure the process runs smoothly for everyone and with no delays.

  1. Let us (and your employees) know you're planning to change. Let us know you're looking to change and we'll start preparing things for you. It's also important you inform your teammates about the change, so that everyone is on the same page.

  2. New employment agreements. Because EORs are different and work with different local entities, new employment agreements are needed to reflect that new relationship. This doesn't mean that your employment agreements with your teammates need to include new contractual obligations (unless you want them to). If you'd like to keep things as they were, we can use the same contractual obligations you've practiced so far in the employment agreements that our local experts draft. We just have to indicate that Panther is now your EOR of choice.

  3. Your employees will have to "quit," but not really. Picture this: It's May 1st and, after speaking with us, you let your employees know that you're changing to a new EOR. Different countries may require different notice periods but, generally, employees and employers can come to an agreement on that (and this overrides any legislation). Let's say you set between yourselves that your employees will quit (on paper) 30 days after, which is May 31st. Your old employment agreements will still be in effect until then.

In the meantime, however, with the info you shared with us about your employees (see section ๐Ÿ”„ Changing to Panther: Step-by-Step for details) we will have locally compliant employment agreements ready in hours which will come into effect on June 1st (to suit the example above). Your employees won't be "out of a job" for even a day.

Granted the notice period between your company and your EOR (if any) is a contributing factor to how long it takes to cease your relationship, but that doesn't affect how quick and efficient Panther's work is while you wait for it.

๐Ÿ”„ Changing to Panther: Step-by-Step

Here's what happens when you decide to employ through Panther.

  1. You fill out a form in the platform. We start the process when you add your employees to the platform and share their details with us.

  2. Panther welcomes your Employees. Your teammates will then receive a link to a short form that they should fill with their personal info. At this point, theyโ€™ll also get an intro to Panther and another about Elements (our employment platform partner).

  3. Statement of Work. Panther drafts a statement of work with the employee details you shared on the platform. Bear in mind that this document is not an Employment Agreement. For things to run bottleneck-free, you should have all employment negotiations completed, prior to getting to this stage.
