For every successful referral that leads to a hire, we pay a €5,000 bounty once the candidate completes 6 months of continuous employment.

How It Works

1. Check our open roles — Make sure the person you have in mind is a genuine fit for one of our current positions. Review the role requirements before submitting.
2. Get their permission — Please confirm with the candidate that they're happy for you to share their details with us.
3. Submit your referral — Fill out our referral form (linked below) with the candidate's details and your information.
4. We take it from here — We'll review the referral, reach out to the candidate, and run our standard interview process. We log the timestamp of every submission, so if multiple people refer the same candidate, the earliest valid referral wins.
5. Get paid — If the candidate is hired and completes 6 months with us, we pay your €5,000 bounty within 14 days of that milestone.

Eligibility & Fine Print

We want this to be straightforward, but here are the conditions that apply:

• The candidate must not have been in contact with Elva or sourced through another channel within the past 12 months.
• The hire must happen within 6 months of your referral submission.
• The candidate needs to sign an employment contract with Elva and complete 6 continuous months of employment.
• One bounty per candidate — if multiple people refer the same person, the earliest valid submission (by timestamp) is the one we honour.

Payment Details

• Companies / freelancers: Invoice us for €5,000 + applicable VAT.
• Individuals in Finland: Paid as työkorvaus (work compensation) against a tax card.
• International individuals: We'll work this out case by case. We can't guarantee gross-up for taxes, but we'll find a solution.
