Set up a new report

1. Create landing page

1. Log in to the backend of the development instance of the Wikipedia Foundation website.
2. Navigate to Pages → Add new
3. Name the page Transparency report
4. Under Permalink (below the page title) click on Edit
   • Type in the current edition of the report, e.g.
     • 2020-1
     • 2020-2
     • 2021-1
     • 2021-2
     • And so forth
5. In Page attributes
   • WHEN YOU GO LIVE: Under Parent, select (Transparency Report parent item)
   • Under Template, select Report Landing Page
6. Under Featured image, search for Neutral_density_filter_demonstration.jpg and click on Set featured image
7. Under Header options, select Blue
8. Click on Publish at the top right
9. Copy/paste the snippet below into the Subtitle field

10. Under Sidebar Menu Label, paste in the current report’s title, like this

2. Create sub pages

1. Navigate to Pages → Add new
2. Name the page Requests for user information
3. In Page attributes

   • Under Parent, select Transparency report. Make sure to select the undermost Transparency report item.

     

   • Under Template, select Report Section

   • Under Order, select 1

4. Click on Publish at the top right
5. Repeat step 1-4 for the Requests for content alteration and takedown and DMCA takedown notices with the following exception for the Order setting:
   • Select 2 for Requests for content alteration and takedown
   • Select 3 for DMCA takedown notices

3. Create stories page
