note:
📷 What's particularly strange is that when the fabric is blue-purple, the background turns yellow, which reminds me of the ridiculous color difference I encountered when buying fabric online. But when the fabric is red, then the background is white in my phone. But the photos will never compare to how stunning it is in person.
threads that make up the fabric
Sometimes, observing the threads that make up the fabric is very interesting, just like watching a painter mix the colors they want on a palette🎨🎨🎨
The staff and customers I met at Mood, B&J, and Spandex were incredibly kind. At Mood, a grandmother customer discreetly shared that the staff are especially generous with swatches. At B&J, a lovely associate not only carefully helped me cut out swatches but also chatted with me about the courses I’m taking, complimenting my fabric choices. At Spandex, a staff member noticed me standing there, a bit lost, and immediately came over to ask if I needed assistance.
It was my first time visiting fabric stores, and the warmth and friendliness of everyone made me feel at ease, allowing me to fully enjoy the experience of exploring and selecting fabrics.

I actually very much enjoy the exploration both in fabric and trim stores. I like feel the material in person, and I found some materials I had wanted to use for making doll clothes before, and not having to worry about color differences is really great.
One point is that in some fabric stores the light is yellow or insufficient, sometimes this twist the color of fabric a little bit. Sometimes I need to turn on the phone flashlight.
