- Develop at least three ideas for your final project in this course.
- For each of the idea, create a diagram and/or drawing that clearly communicates how you imagine this project to function - one technically-conceptually, but also how it will be installed (and possibly be interacted with) in the IMA Show. (Note: your drawing skill is not being evaluated here!)
- Of the three, pick the idea that you are most excited about to work on.
- Duplicate this slide-deck and modify it to present your idea(s).
- Make sure to link your slide-deck on your Notion Page before Monday morning.

➀ animation reflecting on AI and human’s role behind it
a series of short animation created with AI (3 short pieces at most :-D I’ll try my best)
Technically: It could be divided into two parts
- to create animation with Stable Diffusion, prompts could be refined by ChatGPT
- even though it is an animation series shown to audience, I’m still wondering if I can add interaction part into this project (it could be great if AI is involved)
For the first part, I firstly tried to develop a GIF about a flying crow, though it works very bad. I tried twice, with the same seed number, even the gif are exactly the same.

the interaction way (choose)
- flip the page to go to the next animation
- characters in the story could talk with audience after animation being shown
- TBC
coherent issue
- [ ] to modify the prompt (correctly way to present my Character settings and scene settings (a way to let SD understand better
- [ ] to modify my input (if my input, the picture is specific enough, it could help reduce the randomness. But this raises another issue, to balance my work and AI’s work. For example, if the graphic is specific enough, then why not use it directly? How to let AI involved in my work?)
- [ ] trying different lora to ensure the style stays the same
the story
- [x] first
- [ ] second
- [ ] third
- [ ] all the story should be thread together by on main character/object
Conceptually: It should be an animation shown on one screen, and interaction part functioning in another device.

💡suggestions I received:
explore using different lora (a list of them; preparation needed because we need to download first)
how to involve AI in my animation work (they could be the inspiration, or I change the form about what they said and present them in a totally different way
instead of myself telling the story, consider how I can link what I show straightly to machine learning model and the person behind it
