we took a boat to the island of vulcano. the hike up was easier than i expected. the uphill parts were the hardest, but i went up the volcano in about 55 minutes. it was one of the best experiences of my life. getting to the top was so rewarding, and the view took my breath away. while at the top, i took some pictures of the view and ate my snacks - two peaches and two croissants. the hike down only took about 35-45 minutes. once down, we got some lunch, shopped around for a bit, then headed to the black sand beach. the sand was very pretty, but very hot. the water was the perfect temperature and there were volcanic rocks everywhere. i collected some rocks for my brothers and a few pieces of sea glass. chad cooked dinner again and it was delicious. when we finished eating, we played uno flip for a bit before going to bed.
