My voice & tone will be simple, personal, funny and easy to understand
The first colour I used in my mental health app was blue as blue is for calm, trust, intelligence and responsibility. Blue is also cool and relaxing. I also choose blue as it is used by our own NHS who deal with all sorts of health issues.
The second colour I used was purple as it is warm and cool and combines the passion of red with the calmness of blue which I think is good for my app as i am trying to convey calmness to help people relax and have better mental health.
I also used white in my app as it show purity and innocence, cleanliness, freshness and simplicity. It can also be seen as a blank slate like a blank white sheet that you can draw or write on in what ever you want. I think is is good for my app as I want people to have better mental health so that they can have a fresh healthy new start to life. The white also worked well in contrast with my blue as it made the text easy to read and to understand.
I also used a darker purple in different parts of my app as the other one was not as easy to read on a white background so I made it darker which made it more legible.
