About the Role
We’re looking for a Human Resources Manager / People Ops to join the team and play a key role in building and scaling how we hire, support, and grow our people. This is a hands-on, do-er role where you’ll partner closely with our Director of People & Talent (who also serves as Chief of Staff to the CEO) to shape the employee experience across hiring, culture, HR, and coaching.
This isn’t a cookie-cutter HR position—you’ll wear many hats, fix what’s broken, and jump in wherever needed. You’ll thrive if you’re gritty, resourceful, and comfortable creating clarity out of ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director of People & Talent and hiring managers to scope roles, attract, and onboard top talent
- Own and streamline HR operations including onboarding, benefits, compliance, and performance processes
- Keep a strong pulse on employee experience—designing initiatives that strengthen engagement and culture
- Act as a trusted partner and coach to managers and employees across feedback, growth, and conflict resolution
- Build lightweight frameworks and resources that help people thrive at every stage of their career
- Tackle operational challenges and ad hoc projects—jumping in to fix processes, refine policies, or lead initiatives

Requirements
- 3–6+ years of experience in HR / People Ops (startup or growth-stage experience preferred)
- A proven track record of being a do-er—you don’t just spot problems, you solve them
- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving priorities
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust at every level of the organization
- Experience balancing compliance and structure with empathy and flexibility
- Curiosity and drive to improve systems, processes, and yourself
