The role of product manager is broadly-defined and oft-misunderstood. At their core, product managers (PMs) are principally concerned with the identification and delivery of value for their product's users.

In order to facilitate a meaningful solution, PMs should feel comfortable wearing almost any hat required for their business, flexing both interpersonal acumen as well as technical chops, and prioritizing (which oftentimes means saying no to) the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
