This talk was immensely popular, we think due to David's expertise in delivering content in an educational and digestible manner. Summary: This panel, led by Abel, focused on DeFi and its attempt to eat into the world of Fintech whilst touching on how derivatives play a role in the this ecosystem. Together they covered: where Fintech has fallen short and why it can't innovate past distributing access to existing financial products and services; how DeFi will change finance from the ground up; the role of derivatives in DeFi; access to DeFi and risk management.
