About this role

We are looking for a Product Manager to help define our open source products vision and lead the efforts to see that vision through.

We will count on you to research and harmonize user requirements, lead product development decisions, ensure stakeholders’ alignment and ultimately ensure that the technology teams are working with clarity on the product’s strategy and requirements.

You will undertake your role liaising with all teams at Ushahidi, becoming the organization’s point person for the product roadmaps, and monitoring their features’ value proposition.

You will also be given every possible chance to “Get out of the building” and directly engage with customers, enterprise partners, activists, open-source developers, and general end-users.

You will have a significant stake in defining products strategy and efforts accelerating the growth of our organization’s impact, shoulder to shoulder with our executive team and an advisory group composed of world-class experts.

You will report directly to our CTO.
