Relying on centralized web2 platforms for publishing content means that this content is owned by the administrator of the platform, and not by its author.

The problem is that the platform administrator holds the power to control and manipulate access to the content and can use this power in different ways, such as:

• promoting content that maximizes their economic interests over the interests of the author and the reader.
• playing the role of censoring authority based on its own criteria and not that of the content authors and readers.

Intercreativity's Unique Solution

Intercreativity—Web3 Publishing can be seen as a direct extension of Intercreativity—Linked Thoughts.

It let users of Intercreativity—Linked Thoughts have a public-facing content space designed to be shared with others*.* It is focused on Web3 to offer content creators the possibility to store their material in decentralized platforms that cannot be captured by any single platform administrator.

Besides offering decentralized content storage for authors, Intercreativity—Web3 Publishing offers its readers a "search, notifications and timeline (SNT) engine" for them to follow their preferred authors and topics and navigate the content stored on the decentralized technologies.

This SNT engine runs over Web2-based technology, but it's different from the one offered by fully centralized platforms in the sense that it does not hold any special power over the access to the data.

Data access remains in the author's hands, and other entities can create competing SNT engines over the same data sets.
