Unshackled Ventures' Overview

We lead investments and provide the 'friends and family' capital many immigrant teams don't have access to. We sponsor visas, provide full immigration support, and a community of resources. We remove obstacles and help immigrant entrepreneurs succeed faster.

The Role

We are looking for both undergraduate and graduate students who would like to gain valuable experience working closely with an early-stage investment team while building up their content marketing portfolio.

As a venture fund, when we aren't making investments we're growing our immigrant founder community and supporting our growing portfolio. This includes content marketing to support fund initiatives, bolstering SEO, and attracting founders and operators through awareness. Our content fellow will not only have access to our founders but will be our eyes and ears in digital spaces to help curate and influence our fund's content strategy moving forward. The fellow can expect to gain hands-on experience in the world of entrepreneurship and early-stage business building, while also developing their skills in marketing and strategy working alongside the marketing gurus on our team.

All our fellows are welcome into our meetings, working sessions, and mind space as we grow our portfolio and continue to build our thriving immigrant community around the Unshackled brand.

Requirements

• Be a student enrolled in University and willing to join scheduled calls between 9AM - 5PM PST.
• Strong writing skills (long form and in 280 characters).
• Understand the fundamentals of business, community, and marketing.
• A love of startups, venture capital and staying up to date on platforms where these conversations happen.
