TryHackMe is a gamified platform that makes learning cyber security fun and accessible. We've been around for almost three years, have 500k registered users and are growing fast. The platform offers both offensive and defensive security labs, teaching users the required skills to get a job in cyber through hands-on labs and exercises.

We're looking for a content engineering intern to learn about different facets of cyber security and contribute to the content engineering team at TryHackMe. The content engineering team produces different training content for the TryHackMe community and you'll have the opportunity to produce this content and interact with the team to up skill in different areas of security. This internship will last for 8-10 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, write and create cyber security training material
• Analyse industry trends in tooling and techniques and recreate that as teachable content
• Support running various events such as Capture The Flag (CTF)

Requirements

• Have an understanding of Networking and Web Applications
• Comfortable with the Linux Command Line
• Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Be authorised to work in the UK

Preferred Skills and Experience Includes:

• Configuring vulnerable virtual machines and virtual web applications
• Participated in CTFs and have writeups for challenges you've solved
• Experience in any of the following topics:
  • Web Application Security
  • Network Security
