today we started the morning by walking around town after breakfast. we had a little class session on the roof of the building where we talked about our favorite part of the trip. we turned in our journals and got ready for the beach. we went down there, set up our towels, and ran into the water. it was very salty and very cold, but i got used to it pretty quickly. we swam around for a bit, then headed back to shore to look for sea glass, mosaic tiles, and shells. i found a whole bunch and had a huge pile on my towel. i laid out to tan for about half an hour, then tried to take some pictures with my polaroid camera (they didn’t turn out, as it was too bright). we walked around looking for more sea glass, then packed up our stuff to go find some lunch. laura, starr, ashleigh, and i stopped by a place after walking around a bit. i had the best burger of my life. it was so good. when we got back to the hotel, i rinsed off the sand and worked on my journal for a bit. i washed and bagged my beach findings, then we headed to a wine tasting. i didn’t drink any and i honestly did not have a great time. i was really overstimulated and everyone was loud and drunk. i just felt really nervous and out of place. once we went back to the hotel, i had some time alone and relaxed before bed.
