Meet a few of our thrive Alumni

Franco Hattingh 2018 Graduate

In 2019 Franco completed (with full colors) Beyond Adventure, a sport focused gap year program. That same year he attained an advanced diploma in business skills. In 2020 Franco did part time work to fund his Bachelors of Business Administration. He also volunteered at various places such as Taaibosch Camp Site and thrive. During the latter part of the year he landed a job as the manager at Zipzoom Adventures, on Altydgedacht farm. He plans to complete his Bachelors in June/July and is looking at a few options, such as studying linguistics and medieval history in Britain.

Heidi Hattingh 2019 Graduate

Heidi followed her school exit route with a season of Discipleship in YWAM followed by a course in Filming through Media Village.

Kieran McRobert 2021 Graduate

In 2021, whilst completing his school exit program, Kieran took advantage of the flexibility of thrive schooling and started building up his CV doing 6 months of job shadowing at UD Trucks Cape Town. In 2022 Kieran has started a full time position as a Sales Executive at Motus Hino and is also doing a cadet training program in sales and finance in the Truck industry.
