The Grand has developed a learning and development platform that’s a much-needed alternative to skill-based training and 1:1 coaching. Rather than simply build skills, The Grand provides group coaching and a community to support employees through transitions
This Role
The Head of Operations is a unique opportunity to work with The Grand and our early team. You'll be the owner of your domain and maintain and improve our day-to-day operations from the ground up. We are a small but mighty team of good humans and we want more of the world to experience the magic of The Grand. You'll play an integral role in growing our impact by streamlining our operations and keeping the trains running on time. This is an IC role that will report directly to the CEO.
The Opportunity
- You'll run and own the operations for The Grand, working on both developing the strategy and the execution of our group coaching products.
- You'll own the end-to-end group coaching experience from curating the groups, identifying and placing the right facilitators, and creating the ideal cadence and calendar.
- You'll lead the facilitator recruitment, onboarding, and training and be point on refreshing new training materials so each facilitator is equipped to deliver an exceptional experience.
- You'll be in regular communication with our community to learn what needs to be optimized to improve their experience.
- You'll refine the member experience by collaborating with the product team to level up offerings.
- You'll handle all of the behind the scene logistics that keep the trains running on time.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Ops or strategy experience. You have worked in ops or strategy roles before and can manage projects independently end to end. You can clearly set the strategy and aren't afraid to execute as well.
- Organized and detail-oriented. You're able to take something messy and create a system and process around it, while making sure it's high quality with an eye for details, no matter how small they may be.
- Analytical and Resourceful. You're able to look at the data and draw useful conclusions and leverage existing tools to help you streamline operations.
- Self-starter. You have an experimentation mindset and you don't wait to take the initiative. You can operate well in an ambiguous environment where change is commonplace.
- Empathetic communicator. You are a strong listener and collaborate well with different stakeholders.
- Community-minded. At the end of the day, The Grand exists to help people feel less alone and more seen. You love community and thrive in an environment where you can forge and facilitate deeper human connections.
