Top Tips!

→ It is crucial that you research the company ahead of completing any interview task. The context of the exercise will make a lot more sense if you're commercially aware of the product and what they specialise in. Take a look on the company's website, download their app (if applicable) or check out their social medias to get a feel for who they are as an employer. This is also a great opportunity for you to do some research into the company prior to completing the task, so you can make an informed decision on if the company is right for you! 🤝

Take your time to read the task you've been given. It's really important to show employers you can follow instructions and that you've set aside time to complete this task, so don't rush straight into it. Remember, you'll be given a deadline - make the most of it! Similarly, you'll want to demonstrate to employers that you've made an effort to complete the task to a high standard, so make sure you're genuinely putting in the work to make an impact.

→ If the task involves demonstrating your written communications, it's essential that your spelling, punctuation and grammar is excellent!! We can't stress enough how important it is to double, or even triple, check your task before sending it off to the employer. Similarly, make sure your work is consistent throughout; this highlights key skills, such as time management and diligence.

Ask questions! A great feature we have (among many others 👀) is that you can communicate with employers directly via our Platform.
