One-to-one (1:1) meetings

A template allowing you, the manager, and one of your direct collaborator to keep track of what you discussed: when and why ! And a simple to do list to help out one another.
About this template

📦 What's included?
One duplicate-ready template with two main databases:
- A simple to do list with priorities, assignee, deadline and status
- A history of every meeting you had with the tracking of the mood, workload, notes between the two of you and... PPP !

🤔 PPP ?
The most common weekly planning and status reporting framework, it stands for Progress, Plans, Problems.
Let's cut to the chase:
- Progress means "What have you achieve since last time?"
- Plans means "What are your priorities until our next meeting?"
- Problems means "What challenges are your facing?" (and can I help ?)

🤔 For whom ?
This template is made for manager to use individually with their direct report.
The direct report will have things to prepare before the meeting and will have to notify the manager once he or she is done. This will allow the manager to prepare the meeting by reading the content.

🧐 What is a 1:1, 1 to 1, one-to-one ?
A 1:1 meeting which can be tricky to pronounced because it can be “one-on-one” or ‘one-to-one’ meeting is a frequent check-in between two people in an organization, most often than not, it’s a meeting between a manager and his/her direct report. This template has been made for such a dynamic.

- 1:1 meeting can be held on a weekly basis, twice a month or event once a month. It depends on a lot of factors:
- Your preference as a manager,
- Your collaborator seniority and level of autonomy
- Your company setup, check-in might be more regular if your in an entirely remote company for instance
- …

It is generally use to keep each other in the loop, resolves issues, give constructive feedback and help the direct report to see what steps he or she could take to reach the next phase in this career.
It is a very important meeting because this is where employees can find a (hopefully) trusting and productive work relationship with their manager, a common ground.

🙋‍♀️ What are the questions ask ?

For each meeting, the collaborator will have to answer the same set of questions:
- How is your mood? Multiple choice questions
- How is your workload? Multiple choice questions
- What have you achieve since last time?
- What are your priorities until our next meeting?
- What challenges are your facing?
- What else would you like to discuss?
