Bounty Hunting App Proof of Concept

Introduction

The project is an open source bounty hunting application that allows users to post and apply for jobs using their Stellar Blockchain wallets. The application will use Soroban Smart Contracts written in Rust and NextJS for the frontend. This is part of our initiative to build DAO tools to expand the Stellar Ecosystem and attract new developers to build decentralized tools for real use-case scenarios.

Intent

The purpose of our project is to provide a decentralized platform for individuals and organizations to connect and collaborate on tasks and projects, while also incentivizing participation through the use of bounties. By integrating with the Stellar Blockchain, we enable developers and designers to get paid faster and incentivize new talent to learn about the Soroban ecosystem.

Such project can be integral to start automating hackathons, community fund submissions, and hiring within the ecosystem.

What is a Bounty?

A bounty is a task, bug, project, or challenge that anyone can contribute or submit solutions for its completion.

Benefits

A bounty hunting app offers several benefits to the Stellar blockchain ecosystem:

• Decentralized Collaboration: Our platform enables individuals and organizations to collaborate on tasks and projects without the need for a centralized intermediary. The use of Soroban Smart Contracts allows to take the middle-man out of the equation when paying developers internationally. This promotes a more open and inclusive ecosystem where anyone can contribute.
• Incentivized Participation: By offering bounties for completed tasks, we incentivize participation and promote a culture of contribution within the ecosystem. This will also motivate developers and designers to be onboarded into the Stellar and Soroban ecosystem.
