We dream of a world full of digital shapers. In simple terms, we wish to empower people by providing them a platform to pick up digital skills in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Web Development with a unique blend of online courses and real-life projects supervised by mentors. Our "DigitalShaper" program offers an amalgamation of online courses, project work and most importantly community events and networking possibilities with experts, companies. We also organize hackathons as well as other ideathons to spur innovation with an entrepreneurial mindset in Aachen.
As volunteers, we work together across a variety of teams and projects all year round to offer the best learning experience to our techies.
TechLabs Aachen e.V is a legally registered entity co-founded in early 2020 with the single vision of reshaping education in the digital era. The city of Aachen is a cultural hotpot being in the center of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Adding to this is the vigor in research by universities such as RWTH and FH Aachen along with the institutes of Fraunhofer and Juelich Forschungszentrum.
A unique landscape like no other means unlimited ideas and resources for TechLabs Aachen to grow and enable both its members and techies to get immense experience in various spectrums.

At the moment we are a small team of 20 members that takes care of marketing, partnerships, events, club administration, techie learning experience (operations) and internal IT. We come from various countries 🇩🇪🇧🇪🇮🇳🇹🇳🇲🇾🇧🇬 etc and study backgrounds. Some of us are even full-time employees and Ph.D. scholars which adds to the diversity of the team. We also have our spoken language as English 🇬🇧!
We cooperate in Aachen with exciting partners like the RWTH Aachen University (WZL, ITA), inspiring start-ups & corporate partners and the local startup incubators DigitalHub Aachen (digital church) and the Collective Incubator e.V. Especially the last two offers give you an exciting insight into the world of startups and let you meet exciting personalities.
