Overview

SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) lets you automatically provision and deprovision users in Taktile from your identity provider (IdP). This reduces manual user management and helps ensure that access is granted and removed consistently based on your organization’s policies.

This guide explains how to configure Okta to connect to Taktile’s SCIM endpoint. It also covers how to verify the connection by testing API credentials and how to enable provisioning actions such as creating, updating, and deactivating users so that Okta can manage users in Taktile automatically.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have the following:

  1. Admin access in Okta to create or edit app integrations and provisioning settings
  2. A Taktile account with admin/owner permissions on the organization
  3. Your Taktile organization ID, which is required for the SCIM base URL
  4. A SCIM API token from Taktile. To generate your SCIM token, click on the Settings button in the sidebar, and then click on SCIM token. After confirming the generation of your SCIM token, copy the token value. Please note that this token is valid for one year, after which you must regenerate and update it.
