Across the US, there is a project called Little Free Library. The concept of this project is for folks to build and place small wooden enclosures in residential neighborhoods to act as libraries. These small libraries are then filled with books donated by the community. Locals are intended to take or leave books as they deem fit. They are often filled with both children and adult books.
The SNLP aims to provide free books and literature to all people to enrich the lives of kids and adults alike. And to increase the understanding of Socialist ideals throughout Los Angeles.
