About the SuperHi Blog

The SuperHi blog (aka "SuperLibrary") reaches people from 90+ countries, from designers to developers to all kinds of creatives working in the digital space. Out audience is hungry for content to help them make meaningful and interesting work, whether it's on the job, as an entrepreneur or freelancer, or for their side projects.

We're looking for contributors who are excited about taking part in our vision to tell the hidden stories of modern creative work—what that looks like, how to do more of it, how to do it better, and how to do it without burning out.

We're also looking for technical content to give a platform to great teachers in the hopes that we can help broaden the act of making creative work, through approach, voice and accessibility— breaking apart the mysterious art of making cool projects into systems, steps and processes.

Starting in September 2020, we will publish 3 long form articles and technical tutorials per week, which are a mix by the SuperHi team, our community and creative industry professionals from around the world. You don't have to be a "writer" or "teacher" to share something valuable.

We offer paid compensation as well as credited bylines for all content.

General Guidelines

• We only publish original content.
• Our audience is global and creative, and while they may span different skills and industries, they all have an interesting in making things and growing. Our content is either very practical, aiming to teach a skill and deepen knowledge, or it's inspiring and entertaining, aiming to elevate aspiration and perspective in an approachable way. Our community is broad and includes people who are new graduates looking to get started, those mid-career looking to make a change, as well as creative professionals well into their careers. It's best if you have a clear understanding of who you're writing for and to start with that in mind.
• We don't publish promotional content designed to advertise any particular brand or product.
• Articles can range from 1000 to 3000 words.
• We do accept pitches for multiple articles that may belong as part of a series.
• For technical tutorials, consider visual and supplementary elements (for example, code snippets) that are required to properly illustrate and explain concepts.
• For editorial content, SuperHi will be responsible for sourcing and working with an illustrator.
• Bring your personality into it! Use first-person and talk to the reader as "you" when possible.
