2. How to build a simple opt-in (in Flodesk or similar):

• Open your email platform (Flodesk, MailerLite, etc.)
• Create a Form or Landing Page
• Add:
  • Headline – (Go back to your Anchor)
  • Irresistible Subtitle – 1–2 sentence description
  • Form – (Name + Email)
  • Confirmation – Customise your message (or for the tech savvy redirect to a thank you page with a CTA).

3. Upload Your Lead Magnet

There are two options — pick based on the format:

Option A: File-Based Magnet

(e.g. PDF, Notion, Canva template)

Upload it to Google Drive, Dropbox, or Notion

Manage Access so that "Anyone with the link can view"

Include the link in your Delivery Email

Option B: Email-Based Magnet

(e.g. email series, audio links)

Email – Your Delivery Email is the delivery. Add additional links within the email as text links if need be.

Audio – You can upload your files to a platform (eg Buzzsprout, Hello Audio etc.) and embed or drop the link inside the email – OR you could use a free platform like WhatsApp or Notion + Upload your audio files directly (Google is your friend here, there are endless options).

4. Write Your Short Delivery Email

Note: this is not your life story. It’s a warm handoff to start building trust.

5. Test Your Email

Test the client experience BEFORE you start inviting them in.

1. Go to your form/landing page → Fill it in with your own email
2. Check: Do you receive the delivery email?
3. Click the link inside → Does it open/download properly?
4. Double check your:
   • Subject line (would your ICA actually open it?)
   • From name + address
   • Layout on mobile

If it works? Excellent! You’re ready for tomorrow’s flow build out.

If something feels clunky or confusing — fix it now, not when 50 people have already signed up.
