HYPOTHESIS ::

COLOR EXPRESSION —

The color expression of algae culture will shift based on bio-electrical communication of light positioning.

MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT —

This will be expressed onto protein and cellulose fibers where mycelium root systems will guide algae growth, creating patterns based on the location of light.

VISUAL MAPPING —

As the color expression of algae cultures change in magnitude, we will develop a procedure to map where the growth systems have manifested, creating a data map of the visual textile.
