• No data is sent to external servers

HOW THE EXTENSION WORKS The extension extracts text from web pages you choose to read. This text is processed entirely within your browser and is never transmitted elsewhere.

DATA STORAGE All preferences (like your preferred reading speed) are stored locally using Chrome's storage API. This data stays on your device and syncs only if you have Chrome Sync enabled.

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED

• activeTab: To extract text from the current page when you click "Grab Page Text"
• sidePanel: To display the reader interface
• storage: To save your speed preferences
• contextMenus: To add right-click options
• scripting: To detect text selection on pages

THIRD PARTIES We do not share any data with third parties. The extension works entirely offline after installation.
