At Spreadsheet.com we're building a new kind of spreadsheet that brings people, projects, and data together. It's the spreadsheet you already know with the power of a database and project management system, all with real-time collaboration. We call it the all-in-one spreadsheet.
We're funded by well-known Silicon Valley venture capital firms and individuals who played a role in creating the world's most popular spreadsheet applications.
We're looking for a writer to help us create educational and marketing material about the product, including example Spreadsheet.com templates and descriptive copy around them.
This is a contract position with potential to grow into a full time role.
Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with product leadership and an external SEO firm to create and manage a content calendar.
- Write, edit and produce content; be the arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style.
- Create Spreadsheet.com templates designed to align with, and be embedded in, the content.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice.
- Work with our designer to include illustrations and other graphic elements that improve engagement with content.
- Establish a workflow creating, editing, approving, and publishing content using Webflow (our CMS).
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and spreadsheet formulas.
- Experience with modern SaaS productivity and collaboration tools such as Slack, Notion, Asana, others.
- Minimum 2 years experience writing content for web-based products and working with a content marketing team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with, or as part of, a content marketing team
