We are living in a time when violence and hate against Asian Americans has bubbled to the surface — from horrific treatment to our elders, to most recently losing Daoyou Feng, Delaina Ashley Yaun, Hyun Jung Grant, Paul Andre Michels, Soon Chung Park, Suncha Kim, Xiaojie Tan, and Yong Ae Yue in the Atlanta spa shootings.

Some stats around the ~4,000 anti-Asian hate incidents reported to Stop AAPI Hate in the last year:

• Types of hate include verbal harassment (68%), shunning (20%), and physical assault (11%)
• Women have reported 2.3x ****as many incidents as men
• Chinese are the largest ethnic group (42.2%) that report experiencing hate, followed by Koreans (14.8%), Vietnamese (8.5%), and Filipinos (7.9%)

What's important to understand is that this is not anything new — there is a long, ugly history of racism against Asians in the US.

We curated this collection of resources for both Asian Americans and allies so that you can join us in taking action.
